"Smarts" : a Demonstration of Reinforcement Learning

Smarts is an experiment in reinforcement learning applied to virtual critters in a virtual world. The program allows explorations in reinforcement schedules, adaptation, complex adaptive systems and robust learning algorithms. The program has both pedagogical and research elements.
